  1. A barn find Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. 1973 in peacock blue with tan hide. 3 owners. Current owner since 1978. The car was put into storage 34 years ago in 1986. Since then it has been jacked up with all wheels off the ground. It was started regularly until a few years ago. The car has the very desirable torpedo headrests and from new the rarely seen remote control door mirrors on both front doors. There is a large and small tool kit. It comes with its original handbook. The tyres are all the correct Avons.

The car was looked after by James Young when bought but no service history can be located by the elderly owner. The mileage reading is 21,000. Whilst the car looks good under the bonnet and underneath it is being sold as incorrect mileage. The car has just been taken off the jacks and started by Shadow Motors of Sittingbourne. The engine and gearbox appear sound but the water pump requires overhauling. One petrol pump is not working. All four wheels had jammed brakes but two are now free and hopefully the other two will be shortly. The front exhaust box is completely blown. The electric windows all work. The bonnet and nearside front wing require repainting as do some other areas. The hubcaps are in good condition. The car does not appear to have been connolised and the drivers heal pad looks very good.

I have sold hundreds of Shadows over the years but am now retired myself so not interested in recommissioning the car. But I think for someone it may be a viable project as they are increasing in value and this colour combination is desirable. The car is located in Bromley South London. Sensible offers please.
